Encouraging to see number bases again. I was a child of New Math, which I’m not trying to bring back (the past is the past), however I think my exposure to number bases early on was useful.
Whereas I don’t buy a set theoretic basis for all of math ala Frege, Bertrand Russell, early Wittgenstein etc., I do buy that set theoretic notation and concepts (a centerpiece of New Math) are useful and help us decipher a lot of contemporary typography.
As a Python programmer, I use a “set type” as one of many built-in types. Again, New Math was helpful (even though a long time ago, and much came in between). Then I moved to Italy in 3rd grade and got a more traditional British education. I got value from that also.
