Re: my encounter with Dr. Arthur Loeb (1923–2002)
I interviewed him in his MIT office once. I was somewhat camped out in the MIT Student Union, living on day old donuts. Had I hitchhiked from Princeton? I was a crazy-bad hitchhiker back then. The MIT Media Lab was also a focus.
Actually this might’ve been mid 1980s (I received my BA from Princeton in 1980 but sometime later went back to live and work with a former classmate, John Garretson and Princeton, NJ native — I worked in the family store for a few weeks, HP Claytons).
